Jump to: Index | MySQL | Creating Databases Login to the Labyrinth Data Services Members Interface using your normal username and password. You should see a screen similar to the one below.
Click on the blue 'Databases' text. Choose a name for your database, enter it in the circled box (shown below) and press 'Create'.
Your database is then created, and the user you logged into the management interface with is added to the database with full privileges. You can change this - see Adjusting Database User Permissions. Note that it may take a couple of minutes before our servers sychronise and your database becomes accessible. See Connecting To Mysql for details on how to access your new database. |
